Riesling VDP.Erste Lage
RIESLING
Renowned as one of the best white grape varieties in the world, Riesling is an excellent food wine.
In addition to pairing naturally with traditional German dishes such as sausages and pork-based dishes, it has a natural affinity with fish and shellfish, such as scallops, gracefully highlighting the salty, almost iodine flavours of the sea.
It is also delicious with poultry and is probably the only white wine grape that goes especially well with the Asian cuisine.
All our Riesling wines match perfectly with, Creamy sauces, especially with fish like sole
Japanese seafood dishes especially sashimi and sushi, Other raw seafood such as fish tartare, carpaccio and ceviche, Oysters, Fresh crab, Seafood salads, Smoked fish, especially smoked salmon and eel or simply cooked fish such as seabass as well as Dim sum

Weissburgunder GG VDP.Grosse Lage
PINOT BLANC
Our Weissburgunder is an excellent dinner wine that fits well with most cooked fish such as Sea Bass, Trout, Red Snapper, Grouper, Cod or Hailbut i.e.) but also pairs perfectly with veal, pork and poultry.
Due to its slightly nutty fragrance it even suits very well with lamb and game.
It is also great accompaniment for pickles or an Italian Caprese salad and even Tofu.
Another classic and wonderful pairing would be white and/or green asparagus with sauce Hollandaise and young potatoes.
An excellent dinner wine.
